Mid-autumn is a traditional festival in China. This festival is to celebrate the harvest and to enjoy the big, round moon. On this day, people often eat moon cakes and nuts. At night family members get united and have mooncakes together. The shape of a mooncake is round as it symbolizes a big moon. Mid-automn Day is considered to be a symbol of family reunion. On this day, all the family members gather together at home to celebrate this special day. After dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily. And this year in Ruitu, a teacher was invited to show us how to hand make the lantern on that special day. As we are families in Ruitu.

Under the risk of being exposed to COVID-19, we didn’t give up annual team build-up activities, while we chose a near place to start our outdoor relaxing trip, to promote understanding between colleagues, to build up trust in colleagues, to cultivate collaboration and teamwork.
